How To Make Solid Marketing Connections at YouTube

by Kevin Reza

Even though making your mark at YouTube does not have to be difficult, there have been legions of video marketing failures over the years. If you prepare well and do things the way they should be done, you could be a glaring exception and do very well right out of the gate. Millions of online marketers have some idea about video marketing, but who knows why they do not take advantage of it. Well, we are here to help set things straight and get you going.

The best quality you can manage to do will probably be good enough, and remember that some folks get totally turned-off by slick productions. If your budget will not support a video cam, then that is fine because you really do not need to have one.

If you have great videos and your titles reel in the viewers, then that is how you can build-up your YouTube channel. Before you make any video, have a keyword phrase in mind that can be used in the title because that is how the video will be found. Remember you do the same thing for a page title on your sites, you put the page's main keyword phrase in the title. If your YouTube videos are focused on current events then you will have to be timely with your release.

It doesn't matter what kind of topic you're covering with your video, as long as you're able to keep your viewers engaged while having smaller length, you will be able to grab the attention of your target audience. Or, you can make longer videos, of about five minutes, and see if people think they are too long - they will tell you. If you are good enough you will get some subscribers, and then at that point you can deviate from things and experiment.

Make a strong effort to get your videos, hosted at YouTube, onto page one at Google and keep making backlinks to it. There are so many different ways to get the word out about your videos and get targeted exposure, which is why you should try to use as many channels as possible. Thanks to social media today, you're not limited in any way when it comes to getting targeted traffic to your videos; social sites such as Facebook and Twitter offer a tremendous opportunity to get targeted exposure to your videos, and get them shared and attract more subscribers.

You really cannot talk about something that is so far removed from your market that there is a total disconnect. You see, there are so many ways you can be very creative, different and effective at YouTube
